I'm trying to decide
Since gas prices are so high, is it really more cost effective to take the bus - with all the time and aggravation it takes to get there?

Frank Savage, my high school drafting teacher, used to sing "Sarah Smile" whenever he saw me. It made me feel special. I try to smile...I need to smile more. Writing makes me smile!

It depends. If you don't need to save the money, then it's worth it to take the car, since the bus is rather sucky.
But if you need to save the money, you'll save a lot over time by taking the bus. It's just something you gotta do when times are tough, like hanging your laundry outside even though the towels get stiff. It's not just the gas but also the maintanance on your car. Bring a book (or your iPod) and a bottle of water and make the best of it!
