This is a question with an ulterior motive. Your answers will help me make a decision.
Imagine it's going to be your 41st birthday and you are planning your own birthday party for you and your girlfriends. Would you rather go camping overnight in the north (ruffing it) or to the beach for the day with dinner at your favorite Thai restaurant?
Or any other better ideas?

I say come back to B-more and celebrate w/ other friends and family. We can do the beach here and pretend Chinese food is Thai.
Beach has my vote.
for me beach is more relaxing.
although i think camping is more intimate and offers more opportunities to bond, for me there would be a recoup period afterwards.
i would choose camping if i felt i had the time/energy to transition back to reality.
otherwise for a no nosense getaway just do the beach and have fun!
